Isla started preschool on Tuesday for the first time. This is a picture of her leaving the house. We only found out on Thursday that we had a spot in the class for her, so we didn't have time to get her all of her school supplies yet.
Isla in front of her new school: Listen and Talk. She is in a classroom where half of the kids are hearing disabled, and required cochlear implants and other hearing devices, with the intention of integrating these kids into regular public school classes by the time they reach grade 1 by teaching them how to effectively use their hearing aids. So far after the first week, Isla is loving it -- super excited to play with the other girls in her class, and do all of the fun things her teachers have planned for them to do each day.Sunday, September 12, 2010
